The Basic RiderCourse (BRC) Provides 20 hours of classroom and on-motorcycle instruction. You must be an Illinois resident 16 years of age or older. The BRC covers the basics of operating a motorcycle and safety-oriented mental strategies. Motorcycles and helmets are provided for your use. Successful completion of this course will waive both state licensing tests for those 18 years of age and older. Students under 18 must still take both state licensing tests. The course may also earn you an insurance discount.

The Intermediate RiderCourse (BRC2) Provides 12 hours of classroom and on-motorcycle instructions. This program has elements of the BRC.  You must be an Illinois resident 18 years of age or older.  It is designed for riders who already possess basic skills but lacking a motorcycle classification. Motorcycles and helmets are provided for your use. Successful completion of this course will waive both state licensing tests for those 18 years of age and older.  The course may also earn you an insurance discount.

The 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC) Provides 16 hours of classroom and on-motorcycle instruction. You must be an Illinois resident 16 years of age or older. 3-wheel motorcycles and helmets are provided for your use. Successful completion of this course will waive both state licensing tests and earn you an M class license with a J-11 restriction. The course may also earn you an insurance discount. This is the best place to start once you've made the decision to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle.

The Advanced RiderCourse (ARC) Provides a one-day 8-hour course that complements your basic skills and helps with personal risk assessment. You must be an Illinois resident 16 years of age or older. The course is beneficial for riders on any type of street motorcycle. You must have an “L” or “M” class motorcycle license, your own motorcycle and proof of insurance.  The course may also earn you an insurance discount.

If a class is registered full it will not be listed when you choose your course type and move to the next step in the registration process. The table below is provided as a reference to see all classes that are scheduled at this training location.
