Course Description

Those ready to continue beyond beginning German will develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in German. You will delve deeper into the cultures and people of the German-speaking world. All new students who have prior experience with or have taken classes in German should consult with Kim Jaeger - kjaeger@harpercollege.edu before registering. Students enrolled in this class will receive all of the instruction and complete the activities that for-credit students engage in but will not be required to take quizzes or exams and will not be graded.

Synchronous, real time interactive, sessions with the instructor are expected. These sessions will be recorded and made available as needed. You must have access to a computer with reliable Internet access, web cam, a good microphone, and have basic computer skills to successfully complete this course.

The textbook with an online component is used for GER 101, 102, and 201 at Harper and is available for purchase via Harper Store online.
