Course Description

The cardigan with a front band and set-in sleeves is a versatile layering piece which can be worn with either the t-shirt top or the shell top depending on the fabric choice. The cardigan can become a jacket with patch pockets using a heavier knit such as ponte, a sweater knit or even polar fleece. Patch pockets can be added. Closures such as snaps, hooks and eyes or buttonholes can complete the jacket look. Sampling the buttonholes on the sewing machine is a must before adding them to a garment.
