Course Description

Sewing with knit fabrics is fun and easy. This class will introduce knit fabrics and sewing techniques on a sewing machine. Learn how the stretch of the fabric will determine the fit of the garment, how to choose the correct size, what interfacing to use and when, seam finishes and pressing. Sample making helps to produce the best stitching results and eliminate mistakes within the garment or possible damage to the fabric. This series includes 3 courses: LFL0009, Sewing with Knits, The Top, LFS0010, Sewing with Knits, The Cardigan/Jacket and LFS0011, Sewing with Knits, No Side-Seam Pants.
